CFI has been a major worldwide supply of foam insulation since 2002. California has very strict standards for building materials and our product, InsulSmart MH®, was developed for the California market. In 2011 it was approved for use in the state.
DOES THE FOAM EXPAND?
No, the foam is pre-expanded before it’s injected into the cavities.

DOES SMART FOAM SHRINK OR DEGRADE OVER TIME? DOES IT PROVIDE A VAPOR BARRIER?
InsulSmart MH® is water based, which is one reason it’s safe to use in your home. As the material cures, a tiny amount of shrinkage occurs as the water evaporates. InsulSmart MH® is approximately 85% closed cell, which does not provide a vapor barrier.
CAN THE INTERIOR WALLS OF MY BE FOAMED, TO CONTROL ROOM TO ROOM SOUND?
Yes! InsulSmart MH® can be injected into the wall cavities between rooms to reduce noise from people, plumbing, music, etc.
